GirlsFactor! is a math enrichment program for middle school girls that meets one day a week, before or after school. GirlsFactor! classes are taught by two or three high school girls. Our curriculum is designed for middle schoolers from fifth grade to eighth grade. Our goal at GirlsFactor! is to help girls be more engaged with math, particularly with more challenging math topics and problems. The GirlsFactor! curriculum is designed around topics that will help girls delve deeper into math and that are necessary to succeed in math competitions. GirlsFactor! students learn topics such as combinatorics and the binomial theorem, probability, and geometry.
